We are excited to announce that we will be giving our eligible patients both the flu vaccine and Covid-19 autumn booster vaccine this year. NHS England have advised that the vaccines should be given together and one appointment for both vaccinations makes this much simpler for you.
Eligible patients will receive an invitation to book a vaccine appointment via SMS. Clinics are available on Saturday 23rd September at Burford and Saturday 30th September at Carterton. Please note both carparks will be closed.
Those unable to book an appointment via SMS will be telephoned.
Important Information
Wear a short-sleeved top or loose clothing for ease of vaccination.
Timing is key in ensuring you are protected before any potential winter surge in viruses, and therefore latest NHS England guidance advises that having both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines together at the same time maximises your clinical protection
Please do not contact the surgery about your flu or Covid vaccines, as this prevents patients who need medical attention getting through to us quickly.
Patients that are eligible for flu only (and not covid) will be offered separate clinics over the next few weeks.
